Jedi – what a great name for a dog that will be leading a visually impaired person through life. Jedi is Barb Well’s 16th guide dog puppy in training and getting this picture was a bit of a challenge because, well, you know that 4 month old pups don’t sit still for long. He has been coming to the office, and getting used to interesting things like elevators, stairs, and delivery trucks, and lots of people who would love to say HI! … and he would love to say HI! back. That being said, he is amazingly calm in the office and at home, and in public places like the grocery store. All of that bodes well for his future when he will have to keep him mind on his job to keep his person safe. A definition of JEDI – a guardian of peace and justice. That definition fits little Jedi well.
